Not quite as wet as before...
Telescope shots(Tests of digiscoping, well before it was well-known enough to be called digiscoping!)
Having been told it's impossible to take photographs through a telescope, I decided to try it anyway. Below are the results - it appears the rules for regular cameras don't always apply to digital cameras! Okay, so the images aren't great, and it's difficult to hold up the camera, look at the camera viewscreen, move the telescope around to centre the subject in the small area available to you and re-focus the telescope to the camera's liking, but it's good enough for identification and proof purposes.
Oh, and yes, the circle effect is real, it hasn't been added on later for effect.
A better shot of the Yellow-Legged Gull.
Little Egret, which seem to be quite common down here - when my Dad and I first started birdwatching these were a rarity!
The camera/telescope combo doesn't seem to like white, which glares quite badly and can even obscure small areas of colour around it - like eyes.
Herring Gull feeding young. Compare and contrast with the Yellow-Legged Gull above, especialy the leg colour (well, duh!).
